This BLOG
will be about animation and how it came to be such a big part of the media industry and how it was created from scratch also looking at all the types of animation from 2D to CGI animations.
Animation is the idea that still images move when seen by the human eyes however this is an optical illusion the pictures don't actually move. Pictures stay this however drawing another image after another creating a sequence of images creates the illusion that the picture is actually moving.
Frames are images 1 frame is one image however one image would be two quick for the human eye to see anything move so create the illusion that the pictures are indeed moving the sequence must be at least 12 frames for 1 second thats 12 frames per second or FPS.
If you think about in movies that last up to 2 hours thats over thousands of frames for the entirety of the film.
Also with high-speed cameras such as the Phantom Flex these cameras can catch up to 25000 Frames a second these cameras are used for slow motion in movies. If you compare that to basic animation like the one above you can tell that difference is dramatically different.
Basic animations that were first introduced was the idea of taking a sequence of pictures to create motion later this was use in specific devices that use motion to create motion of images such as the pheneiska scop and zoatrope.
